Gabriola Island
3-minute Stroll from B&B
Public access to the Strait of Georgia Shore with views of the mainland across the strait.
Sandwell Park
A provincial park about 5 minutes cycle from the B&B. There is a cool and wooded trail which forks and leads to a large grey sandy crescent beach. or down the slope to a pebbled/rocky shore. Walk from shore to beach or vice versa and enjoy the views of Entrance Island and the Mainland across the Strait of Georgia.
Twin Beaches
On the northern shore of the island about 15 minutes drive from the B&B, these beaches are situated on both sides of a narrow isthmus. There is also a large meadow with picnic tables - ideal for family outings.
Whalebone
Whalebone drive is just a block away from the
B&B and this road has many small parks and public access points to the Strait of Georgia shore. At the end of Whalebone drive there is a park with woodland trails and a lovely little low-tide swimming beach.
